IAYP – The International Award for Young People
SDPS International School is a member of the (International Award for Young People). IAYP is a non-
governmental organisation (NGO) and a full member of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award
Association.

Trinity College London – Speech & Drama Course
The Speech and Drama syllabus specifications are designed for candidates who want to develop
their presentation and performance skills by engaging with a variety of written forms including
poetry, prose and play extracts in a range of styles from different periods.
Our students develop public speaking, oratory skills and theatrical expression through Trinity
certifications that refine creative talents and enhance global competence.
AFS (American Field Service) – Intercultural Exchange Programs
AFS is a global intercultural exchange program that fosters cultural understanding and personal growth
through international student exchanges.
Through AFS India, students participate in international exchange programs that foster cross-cultural
learning, global friendships, and a deep sense of empathy.

In a remarkable initiative to foster mutual understanding, respect for diversity, and national integration,
DALIMSS Sunbeam School , Varanasi and SDPS International School, Indore conducted a
collaborative AFS Cultural Exchange Program.
This cultural exchange program helped students enrich with a deeper understanding of India’s diverse
traditions, promoting mutual respect and national unity. It aided in enhancing communication, creativity,
and appreciation for cultural diversity through interactive and these collaborative experiences.
India Didactic Association (IDA)
India Didactics Association (IDA) is a national, non-profit organization that connects educators,
government bodies, and ed-tech providers to promote innovation and collaboration in education. It
organizes major events like Didac India and supports professional development, policy dialogue, and
global partnerships in the learning ecosystem.
SDPS International School collaborates with the India Didactics Association (IDA) to enhance global
educational exposure and adopt innovative teaching practices.
SDPS International School encourages & promotes Student Exchange Programs as these programs offer students a unique opportunity to experience global learning and cultural immersion. Through such exchange programs, students can study abroad in various countries, gaining first-hand exposure to new educational systems and diverse cultures. Through the regional exchanges, students will learn about the true essence of the diversity of Indian culture and traditions. These programs range from short-term exchanges to year-long academic experiences, fostering leadership, independence, and cross cultural understanding.
SDPS International School and Modern International School, Bangkok, Thailand, recently hosted a successful virtual student exchange program, connecting students from diverse cultural backgrounds. The program facilitated engaging interactions, knowledge sharing, and collaborative learning experiences between students from both institutions. Through virtual sessions and activities, participants explored each other's traditions, customs, and ways of life, fostering global understanding and friendship. The exchange program aimed to develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and cultural adaptability among students. The virtual exchange was a success, paving the way for future collaborations and strengthening the bond between SDPS and MISB, Thailand.
Recognition at International Platform
IAYP Meet Up was organised in Mumbai in which Duke of Edinburgh Award participant SDPS
International School marked its presence. SDPS International School's Aastha Parihar, Disha Pandya,
Hiba Hussain and Niyati Tripathi Duke of Edinburgh Award participants got a special opportunity to
meet His Royal Highness Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh and Britain's former Prime Minister Shri
Rishi Sunak during the India and England cricket match at Wankhede Stadium as part of a special
program in the IAYP Meet Up and share their experiences of their IAYP journey with them. A total of 7
schools from India participated in the IAYP Meet Up, out of which SDPS International School from all
over Madhya Pradesh got this golden opportunity. Some pictures of this meeting have also been
shared on the official handles of the British High Commission and former Prime Minister Shri Rishi
Sunak. The coverage of this meeting has also been covered by major media houses of India. Prince
Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, visited India as part of his three-day visit with the aim of promoting the
benefits of informal education across the world. His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh visited
Mumbai and Delhi to promote the International Award, which is given in India as the International
Award for Young People f the then Prince of Wales King Charles III to India in November 2019. Prince
Edward is the brother of King Charles and the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip,
the late Duke of Edinburgh. He last visited India in 2018. However, this is his first official visit to India
after being conferred the Dukedom of Edinburgh in 2023.
